The Gallery is big...and continues to grow. Additional images and information continue to be uploaded and Classified items will frequently change. Featured Pistols change periodically to promote learning and keep the content fresh and appealing.
The Gallery is best viewed Full Screen. Due to the number and size of images in the main Gallery (currently more than 1100 images/nearly 80 MB), it takes a moment to load content. A high speed connection is recommended. However, once you visit the Gallery and see the presentation, quality and quantity of content, I believe you will agree...it is well worth your time and low cost of subscription.
There is no need to wade through nearly 200 handguns and 60 other items, page by page, to view the content you want to see or research. In the Pistol Search area located at the bottom of the Gallery landing page, there are 11 search fields. The search engine quickly filters and constructs every page customized to your specific entries. You can search any combination of: (32) different Years, (34) different Manufacturers, (56) different Models, (24) different Branches or Services, (195) different Serial Numbers and (60) non-serialized items, (18) different Finishes, (25) different Final Inspections, (34) different Barrel Markings, (9) different Calibers, (3) different Actions and (8) different Arsenal Marking listings.
Results for all 11 search fields are automatically displayed with the Description for each gun or accessory selected. Each handgun has at least two large 1024 x 768 images, showing the left and right views. Rigs and boxed guns generally have a more images. Featured Handguns in the Gallery have numerous detailed images and include much more information in the description.
I have pre-sorted the 250+ Gallery items into 12 different Categories, with several additional sub-categories to help you more quickly refine your search. The Categories are: 1) All .22 Caliber Pistols and Kits, 2) All Classified For Sale or For Trade, 3) All Military Trials Pistols, 4) All Model of 1911 Pistols, 5) All Model of 1911A1 Pistols, 6) All Presentation Pistols, 7) All Revolvers, 8) Colt Government Model (all commercial variations), 9) Colt Pocket Hammerless and Misc. USGI Pistols, 10) Foreign Mfg. and Captured by U.S. Troops, 11) Misc. Parts, Accessories, Militaria, Accoutrements, 12) U.S. Holsters, Pistol Belts, Magazine Pockets, Etc.
There are currently about (160) M1911 & M1911A1-type pistols, as well as several other misc. U.S. military handguns. There are Foreign Manufactured and Captured by U.S. Troops variations. I've also included categories which include various parts, accessories, accoutrements, etc.
All items For Sale or For Trade are listed in the Classifieds category. Each item has been inspected, photographed and described by me, in order to provide a safe venue for all buyers, regardless of experience or level of expertise. All the Classified items have multiple photos and an unbiased, accurate description.
I have attempted to show all guns photographed in the same lighting and background to provide consistency and allow you to see the differences in finish and surface preparation from one manufacturer's year or model to another.
