This is one of ca. 200 1964 manufacture Springfield Armory military National Match pistols using a Drake slide that were released for sale after the Camp Perry competition. The Drake slide performed in most excellent fashion, but was only used the one year. Therefore, these pistols are considered to be very difficult to acquire in excellent, original condition.
This pistol is all matching and totally original.
